Q: I have my regulars. Why do I need Order Wizard?

A: On any evening, your regulars can go to another restaurant, buy a £10 dine with wine meal from a supermarket or cook for themselves. You have to continually market to them and make it easy for them to dine with you. A once a week regular is better than a few times a year regular. Order Wizard builds your long term relationship with each customer.

Q: I don’t do sit in. Is Order Wizard suitable for takeaways?

A: Absolutely!  Order Wizard is your complete marketing system, including your own website, Gold Club, online ordering system and Facebook page.

Q: How does Order Wizard compare with other marketing services?

A: It’s sometimes difficult to know what you get with your marketing. Here’s a handy checklist to see how Order Wizard is different from other marketing:

Q: What return can I expect from my Order Wizard investment?

A: We guarantee a return of more than £11.75 for each £1 you invest in Order Wizard. Normally you can expect much more than this: £20, perhaps £40. How much return you get depends partly on how much commitment you make to your restaurant’s marketing through Order Wizard.

Q: What’s my commitment?

A: Ideally we are looking for a long term partnership with you.

There a few simple things you can do to make your Order Wizard a success for your restaurant. For example telling customers about your Gold Club, by including a note about it on your menu. We can then market to more customers. We are happy to work with your other partners but we do ask that your overall marketing is consistent with your Order Wizard system. Your marketing keeps its focus and co-ordination. That is one of the important benefits of the Order Wizard system.

It’s good to know before you start with Order Wizard, that you can cancel at any time if you find it isn’t for you. Not surprisinginly, very few Order Wizard customers cancel.

Q: What are your fees?

A: Order Wizard is a complete marketing system for your restaurants that builds your business by phone, off the street as well as online. We only make a small charge for each online order and booking that we get for you. We have no upfront charges and we don’t charge for building your website, running your standard marketing programmes, or managing your Facebook page etc.

We take the commissions by monthly Direct Debit. We are happy to credit any orders and bookings that you are unable to fulfil – eg because the customer doesn’t show up or is outside your delivery area.

Q: How do I receive my orders and bookings?

A: The easiest way is by fax. Fax machines cost about £50 and are straightforward to setup. You can use the fax alongside your phone if you have only one phone line. If you already have a dedicated phone line for your card terminal, that will be the ideal line to use for your fax.

Alternatively, can receive orders by email or for about £200 you can purchase a standalone printer that receives orders by SMS. Please contact us to discuss either of these options.

A computer or smartphone is useful for getting more out of your Order Wizard system through your website administration area.

If you are unable to fulfil an order or a booking, just let us know by the end of the month and it will be taken off that month’s statement.

Q: How does my Gold Club benefit me?

A: Your Gold Club is a reward programme available to registered members. It gives them loyalty points for each online order or booking that they make. Customers get a one-off registration offer when they join. Your Gold Club is where members go to redeem any promotions you wish to run.

Your Gold Club gets customers to return and spend more. Indeed, it gets them to come in the first place. Quite simply, the more members you have, the more marketing Order Wizard can do on your behalf. Membership of your Gold Club is attractive to diners. So we advertise the benefits and get more customers to your restaurant.

Promotions for the Gold Club normally pay for themselves in higher margins and more than pay for themselves in extra revenue and profit. Our analysis shows that each Gold Club member is worth another £90 or so of repeat sales each year. It quickly mounts up as you sign up more members to your club. Gold Club members spend about 7% more than non-members. In summary, your Order Wizard Gold Club gets customers to return and spend more each time.

Q: I already have a website.

A: You can switch your website address so that it points to the new website we create for you. We can provide instructions and support in doing this. The website we create for you is one that reflects your brand and values. We can base it on your existing design or a new one. We totally welcome your input into the design and content. Your involvement will result in a website that better represents your restaurant and makes you stand out from the crowd. Of course, all of this design and setup is included.

Most important, the Order Wizard website is focused on sales and getting customers to order and sign up to your Gold Club for further marketing. We don’t recommend producing an additional website as this dilutes your marketing efforts.

Q: Can I make changes? What control do I have over my system?

A: Straightforward changes to your menu can be made in your administration area. You can also review your orders and switch off online ordering or booking when you’re closed. There is no charge for occasional alterations to promotions, the menu or website which involve Order Wizard staff.

Q: How do I get started?

A: We just need 3 things: your menu, to complete a test order and your bank details for the direct debit. That’s all there is to it. You are now ready to receive orders!  After that, you are welcome to ask for updates to your website whenever you like.
